We specialize in the resolution of business disputes at all phases – from heading off a dispute before it happens through careful negotiation and crafting of contracts, to advising clients on how to handle a situation themselves when a dispute looms, to pre-litigation dispute resolution and negotiation, either informally or through mediation. When all other means fail, we guide our clients through every step of the process with careful attention to detail, drafting the strongest possible litigation documents for our clients and pursuing or defending their interests aggressively. We find that a strong, skilled litigation posture leads to a pre-trial resolution of the majority of all business disputes that we handle. However, should a matter proceed to court, our partners are experienced trial attorneys with a combined several decades of experience in and outside the courtroom. We have a winning track record against firms far larger than ours, from case-dispositive motions to bench trials to jury verdicts.

Our recent business dispute resolution work for clients has included resolution of wage and hour and discrimination claims (both plaintiff and defendant), breach of contract claims for and against software consulting firms, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, service contract breach claim defense for a major public utility, consumer fraud and California Unfair Business Practice claim defense, and several theft of trade secret matters for plaintiff corporations against infringing companies, including household name multinational corporations.
